Wushu Becomes an Official Sport of The World Games 2025 Chengdu

On 3, May, 2023, in Madrid, Spain, the International World Games Association (IWGA) unveiled the events for The World Games 2025 Chengdu. Wushu was named an official sport of The World Games 2025 Chengdu. For the first time, wushu becomes an official sport in The World Games. 

 

 

The International Wushu Federation (IWUF) became an official member of the International World Games Association in 2021. Wushu has been invited to The World Games three times, and the IWUF has accumulated multiple experiences in cooperating with The World Games, laying a good foundation for wushu to become an official competition event in The World Games 2025.
